Caring Together

Caring Together Charity

About us

Carers are people of all ages who look after a friend, partner or family member unpaid. They support others who may be disabled, suffering with a long term health condition, frail and unwell due to age, or those with a terminal illness. We support children who are carers as well as adults of all ages.

Although carers often willingly take on a caring role because of their devotion to the person they care for, it can also be extremely demanding. Sadly, they often suffer physically, emotionally, socially and financially, as a direct result of their caring role. This is what we want to change.

The services we provide include expert advice from our helpline, breaks for carers, hubs where carers can meet with others and receive training, emotional support from our Listening Ear and counselling services, and fun social activities for young carers.
